"We looked at how best we can continue to add value to our customers through our flagship meal that has resonated so well with them over the past 47 years. Streetwise 2 has always been the meal for the Streetwise," says Thabisa Mkhwanazi, public affairs director at KFC Africa

Mkhwanazi adds, "We’ve never changed because, just like them, we know what works: two pieces of chicken and chips – the perfect combination. But we didn’t stop there. We put chicken with chips, and we put it at the perfect price of R29.90. We did it for the streetwise."
