The retailer’s original business model was selling cosmetics, fashion handbags and weaves via its online and social media platforms. Now, with a brick-and-mortar presence, it aims to increase its customer base and total revenue.

Precious Love owner, radio presenter and entrepreneur, JD Mdu, says that it was time to provide a physical experience for both current and potential customers and grow the business. To meet these objectives, Mall Ads™ positioned the kiosk at the recently refurbished Davenport Square.

"After wanting to establish our business within a commercial space, our feasibility study steered us comfortably towards Davenport Square in Berea, Durban. After a few successful weekends of exhibitions, between August and September, we decided to pursue a permanent kiosk with Mall Ads™. We felt at home dealing with Mall Ads™ as they have our business's best interest at heart," says Mdu.

The boutique has been trading permanently since Thursday, 25 October. According to Mall Ads™, since then, daily customer enquiries have doubled, total sales have increased by 35% and the product and services offerings have expanded, given the highly visible and high foot traffic location in the mall.

"We anticipate a successful year ahead for the Precious Love kiosk and will continue working passionately to ensure further growth prospects," concludes Mdu.

Mall Ads™ has rights to all the malls within the South African corporate portfolio.

This includes Davenport Square, Umlazi Mega City, Bluff Shopping Centre, Springfield Value centre, Musgrave centre, Cavendish Square, Coachman’s Crossing, East Point, Morning Glen Mall, Montana Crossing, Stellenbosch Square and Rhodesdean Centre.
