CMG was established by partners Grant Rightford, ex-group managing director of Geometry Global, and Dries van der Sandt, Fast-Moving Consumer Goods leader.

"I have had the fortune of working with Grant on a number of past projects in his capacity as MD of Geometry, and I think we both grew a healthy level of mutual respect and admiration from those interactions," Latimer adds.

Latimer says, "When I heard that he left his previous role, I jumped at the opportunity to team up with him again and invited him to join our board in an advisory capacity back in January 2019."

"Later, when he shared his plans to team up with Dries, who recently returned from a successful consulting role with Heineken in Asia to start CMG, their own a shopper marketing council, I saw the opportunity for our business to partner with them," Latimer adds.
