Astron Energy markets its products under the Caltex master brand. Caltex is one of South Africa's top fuel brands, with approximately 850 service stations nationwide. These retail outlets sell transportation fuels, which all contain the Techron®
additive and a range of Havoline- and Delo-branded lubricants.
Flume's Cape Town team was assembled three years ago to service the agency's Cape Town-based clients and will be taking the digital marketing lead on Astron Energy's account. Flume says that for its agency as a whole, however, the partnership with Astron Energy represents a 'significant addition' to its portfolio of blue-chip brands.
