Nairobi is the first Mobiclicks representation outside of the South African cities of Johannesburg and Cape Town. Mobiclicks aims to bring East African consumers the same mobile and digital advertising innovations — like shoppable video, which is powered by the world's leading video tagging software.

According to Mobiclicks, millennials spend an enormous amount of time viewing videos on their mobile devices. Because of this, there are tremendous opportunities in video for the mobile marketer, says the company. Mobiclicks intends to help East African brands monetise a growing trend.

"I am confident that being conferred this award will help me achieve further great things in the African mobile sector," says Kambuni. "It's an exciting time to be an African and to be working within the highly-promising mobile industry, in particular," he concludes.
