Khumalo comes from Collective ID, where she was managing director for over two years. She says that she is "extremely excited" for this opportunity that will allow her to focus on her core passion, which is client service and client relations.
"As part of my new role, I plan to work closely with the Exco team in bringing our vision to life, while focusing strongly on our strategic and innovative solutions for our client partners," says Khumalo.
"I've always been passionate about training, and it is refreshing to be in a space where training is part of the culture and is embraced at every level within the agency. I look forward to growing the client success team and to continue entrenching ourselves in our clients' businesses, while offering a world-class service experience," Khumalo adds.
Khumalo says that she was looking for a new challenge and to learn something different in a new space. "This was why I was drawn to Demographica because of their pioneering spirit and the reputable and solid standing in the B2B space. I felt it was the perfect fit since I wanted to expand my knowledge in the B2B space and learn and deliver effectively in this market," she adds.
"I have huge respect for Warren Moss, Demographica's CEO; he is progressive in his thinking and I believe in his vision. After a few meetings with him, I was convinced that this move made sense for me when it came to my own personal growth," Khumalo adds.
Moss says that he is thrilled to have someone of Khumalo's calibre joining the Demographica team. "Demographica's intention is to build the greatest B2B marketing agency in the world. In order to achieve this, we need right the right people of the highest calibre leading the respective teams within the agency," Moss says.
"Brenda brings with her a world of knowledge and expertise that will play a key role in driving Demographica toward this vision," he concludes.
Over and above her recent appointment at Demographica, Khumalo has also been appointed as a board member of The Pendoring Awards
and is a jury member for the Financial Mail Adfocus Awards
