Upon hearing that someone was looking for a 'little extra Jungle cheer' in their life, the brand team — along with their lead agency, the Brave Group — came together to compile a jingle overnight and shared it with Knowler.
The campaign was well-received, with Knowler promptly tweeting in response, "Too good ..! Can't say I wasn't impressed."
Vanessa Pearson, executive creative director of the Brave Group, says that she felt everyone needed a little bit of cheer after such a challenging year and Knowler's Jingle Oats tweet gave the perfect opportunity.
"What better way to capture the spirit of the season than with a literal jingle for Jungle Oats, South Africa's favourite Oats," says Knowler.
Kershnee Kallee, marketing manager at Jungle, concludes, "Knowler's tweet sparked an idea for us to spread some Christmas cheer and we thought, 'why not?' It would be a great idea for us to share some happiness this festive season. Kudos to our creative team, who was able to put together this outstanding creative piece in less than 24 hours."
In two days, Jungle's festive jingle has received over 3 500 views, with many Twitter users taking to the post to applaud the brand for their quick and creative response.
