Inaugurated in 2017, the PRISM Young Voices initiative focuses on empowering and exposing young, zestful public relations and communication enthusiast through mentorship from industry leaders. It also gives them an opportunity to be adjudicators on the PRISM Awards panel.

The individuals are given the opportunity to also engage in various discussions and forums, which guide their decision-making process and add to their experience.

The selection process was focused on choosing entrants who offer a different but relevant perspective on components of the industry. The official top 10 finalists include:
  1. Bulelani Ngcauzele
  2. Lebone Masombuka
  3. Nqobile Hlubi
  4. Bonolo Makena
  5. Nompumelelo Mjikeliso
  6. Yenzi Khuzwayo
  7. Zimkhitha Nanto
  8. Thando Xaba
  9. Ntokozo Kalako Nwabisa, and
  10. Nicole Picksley.
