There are currently more than enough challenges to master such as:

- growing discussions about the energy consumption and sustainability of the digital industry.
Thomas Mosch, conference director at
DMEXCO, says, "We will open a dialogue about how leading brands — together with companies from the digital economy — are responding to today's challenging environment.
DMEXCO attendees can look forward to more than 30 panels, where we'll be discussing relevant developments in digital marketing and e-commerce, spanning the metaverse, digital-Out-of-Home, connected TV, retail media and product experience management."
Dominik Matyka, chief advisor of
DMEXCO, adds, "The stock prices of many technology companies have significantly declined. At the same time, global media agencies' forecasts for digital marketing ad spending in 2022 and years to come continue to point upwards. We will discuss this area of tension intensively at the
DMEXCO conference and try to find solutions together with our partners in order to contribute to the ecosystem."
Dirk Freytag, president of the BVDW, concludes, "
DMEXCO is the platform for digital marketing. We want to discuss how applications can be implemented in Web3 and the metaverse. What are the opportunities for digital companies? These are key topics for the future and for the industry.
DMEXCO delivers the perfect setting for discussing them. It doesn't get any closer to the future than this."
