Now for the first time, brands, agencies, omnichannel DSPs and media owners — both in the country and globally — can access the Hivestack platform and suite of solutions to plan, activate, measure and drive revenue from programmatic DOOH campaigns in Sweden.
To coincide with its launch, Hivestack has onboarded several of the market's leading media owners including
Clear Channel Sweden via the Clear Channel LaunchPAD platform to connect their premium DOOH inventory to a worldwide pool of advertisers in real-time via the Hivestack supply-side platform (SSP).
Hivestack says one such example is the
recently announced programmatic DOOH campaign for Plantagen, via GroupM Nexus' Advanced DOOH solution and technology suite — the first programmatic DOOH campaign using dynamic creative optimisation (DCO) in Sweden.
William Brownsdon, managing director EMEA at Hivestack, says, "We are incredibly excited to announce our official launch in The Nordics and have already seen huge success through our established supply and demand partnerships in Sweden. From market-first executions using dynamic creative optimisation to driving incremental value for media owners from local and cross-border business from outside of Sweden, the stage is set for an exciting future."
The entire inventory is available via
Clear Channel LaunchPAD, a pan-European advertising platform offering programmatic, automated and direct buying channels.
Dom Dunne, programmatic commercial lead at Clear Channel Europe, says, "As part of our ongoing programmatic expansion across Europe, we're delighted to extend our existing partnership with Hivestack to the Swedish market. This latest strategic development will enable more local and international advertisers to harness the flexibility and scale of our Clear Channel LaunchPAD platform to plan, activate and measure targeted and contextually relevant DOOH campaigns."
As Sweden's leading Out-of-Home (OOH) media and infrastructure company and with the best OOH / DOOH reach in the market, Clear Channel Sweden offers nearly 1 500 digital screens from the north to the south, and is present in the 20 biggest key cities, including Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö, according to Hivestack.
Susanne Persson, sales director at Clear Channel Sweden, says, "Our partnership with Hivestack broadens Clear Channel's programmatic offering to a wide range of DOOH clients all over the world, who can now access our premium locations on the Swedish market."
"As the demand for programmatic advertising increases, we take pride in leading the way in creating the future of media, providing advertisers with extensive reach to deliver impactful campaigns and the ability to target specific audiences through OOH advertising," Persson adds.
Hivestack says in Sweden alone, ad spend in OOH is projected to reach about USD$180-millon by the end of 2023, with nearly 40% of that spend coming from DOOH (source: IRM; Institute for Advertising and Media Statistics). The launch of Hivestack's full operations in Sweden represents a strategic entry into the Nordic region.
According to the company, Hivestack will ensure marketers are now able to utilise data-driven targeting precision, agile buying models and unprecedented audience measurement capabilities to drive further growth for the channel in 2023 and beyond.
Hivestack concludes that it has been partnering with Clear Channel in other European markets, including the United Kingdom, Spain and the Netherlands among others. Clear Channel LaunchPAD is available in eight markets, with nearly 10 000 DOOH screens able to deliver over 1.6 billion programmatic impressions per month.
