Keys Communications says it already has a presence through notable projects in Botswana and Zimbabwe.
The company adds that its innovations have revolutionised the way brands connect with audiences in townships, transforming these vibrant communities into canvases for compelling narratives.
With a focus on innovation and impact, Keys Communications says it has developed a unique portfolio of Out-Of-Home (OOH) solutions that resonate with township audiences throughout the SADC region. These include:
- WiFi wall murals
- commercial graffiti
- selfie walls, and
- ambient branding.
These are all designed to seamlessly integrate with the local environment while delivering impactful brand messaging.
According to Keys Communications, its in-house research-based innovations such as 3D with LED, WiFi-enabled walls and wall media insights have also ensured the company remains an industry leader.
In 2022, Keys Communications won the GroupM's Rising Star Out-Of-Home Innovation Award in recognition of its work and contribution. In South Africa alone, the company has transformed spaza shops, taxi ranks and central business districts, infusing these spaces with personality and enhancing their appeal to both residents and visitors, says the agency.
"Townships are the heart and soul of Africa, and they deserve to be seen and heard," says Anisa Kale-Ngwapa, founder and CEO of Keys Communications. "Our mission is to empower brands to connect with township audiences in a meaningful and authentic way, while also uplifting these communities through our CSI initiatives."
According to the company, as Keys Communications continues to expand its footprint across the SADC region, its vision remains clear: to empower brands to connect with township audiences through innovative and impactful OOH solutions, while simultaneously contributing to the social and economic upliftment of these vibrant communities.
