The nomination will see its website, built for South African energy traders Enpower Trading, come up against a number of incredible international entries.

The Webby Awards, presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS), is currently the leading international awards organisation honouring excellence on the Internet.

In fact, the New York Times has referred to the awards as the 'Internet's highest honour'. And it's not hard to see why, with previous Webby Award winners having included industry heavyweights from the likes of Google, Duolingo, LinkedIn and Pepsi Co, says the agency.

Jansen says, "We are excited and honoured to have received a nomination, placing us among esteemed agencies, studios and individuals from diverse fields and categories."

Securing this nomination amid stiff competition is a testament to the dedication of our team and the trust of our clients. It's immensely rewarding to see our efforts recognised and our work spotlighted on a platform we've admired and followed closely for years," adds Jansen.

"This nomination serves as both validation of our hard work and inspiration to continue pushing boundaries in our industry," Jansen says.

According to Jansen, the Enpower Trading website, which embraces minimalism and harnesses the potential of eco-design principles, has already achieved an immense feat, having been selected among the best from the nearly 13 000 international entries received this year.

The awards conclude that winners will be announced on Tuesday, 23 April, and honoured at a star-studded show at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City.
