Foozi, the world's first foosball advertising platform, recently ensured the successful escalation of sales of Klippies and Cola at two Pretoria taverns.
According to Damon Freeman, Chief Negotiator, Marketer and Overall Nice Guy of Foozi Gaming, Foozi strategically placed Klippies and Cola branded Foozi tables in two taverns in Pretoria for two months. The aim was to determine what, if any, increase there would be in the brand's sales.
"We purposefully selected two venues that hardly sold any Klippies and Cola units, as we knew that the difference in sales, if any, would be more accurate as an influence from the Foozi tables as opposed to just seasonal or cyclical differences," explains Freeman.
Before the Foozi tables were placed inside the venues, each tavern sold, on average, three units of Klippies and Cola per week. Since the branded foosball tables have been on site, both venues have seen a dramatic increase in sales to an average of 60 units per week.
"The results speak for themselves. Clearly, when it comes to purchasing decisions on site, branded Foozi tables make a massive difference. They get the advertiser's message across in an environment where consumers have enough time to absorb the message," adds Freeman.
