The film is set in the 1950s at the height of the Cold War, where a young housewife is deserted by her husband and stepsons. She embarks on a journey to find them but instead finds a derelict world, with only a few survivors. In an attempt to find answers, she soon finds out that the place she is in is very different to the world that she is familiar with.

“From the moment we started transcoding the footage, the beauty of the cinematography was very apparent,” comments Daniel Mitchell, editor at Deepend Post Production.

“The edit was led by the performances in each scene; therefore we did not force anything or make it unnatural. The editing style was an assemblage of classical, neat cutting with a contemporary and messy style, which ensured that it flowed with the story,” continues Daniel.

The team was made up of director, Michael Matthews; screenwriter, Sean Drummond; cinematographer, Shaun Lee; and was produced by Be Phat Motel.
