The promotion which kicked off in October, has given Lunch Bar consumers the opportunity to win their share of R250 000 in cash to help reach their dreams. The grand prize of R100 000 is still up for grabs and the winner will be selected on 9 January 2012.
How our ten winners are spending their money:
Pink Mapena from Mohlakeng in Randfontein used the money for kitchen appliances as well as a cupboard and chest of drawers for her bedroom;
Nontokozo Gumede from Tongaat, Kwa-Zulu Natal gave her mother the money she won so that they can continue building their new house;
Evelyn Sekgothe from Orchards, Pretoria used the cash to put down a deposit for a new car;
Lioma Ogle from Pietermaritzburg, Kwa-Zulu Natal recently got engaged so she will be using the money for her wedding in January next year;
Thomas Shabangu from Benoni, Gauteng spoilt himself with new sound equipment and clothing. He plans to invest the rest of his winnings into his studies;
Bongani Nxumalo from Pietermaritzburg, Kwa-Zulu Natal was getting married the very same week he won, so he used the money to pay for additional expenses;
Msimelelo Mali from Mdantsane in the Eastern Cape is going to use his winnings to study Basic Ambulance Assistance next year;
Lesego Morake from Orange Grove in Johannesburg is planning to use her winnings to purchase building material for her new home;
Lidia Pula from Phalaborwa, Limpopo recently lost her mother, and has put her money towards the burial;
Zwelandile Nicholas Lapi, from Motherwort, Port Elizabeth has just lost his job and so will use the money for his kids’ education next year.
For consumers who have entered the competition and were not one of the ten lucky winners of R15 000 each, their names go into the draw for the grand prize of R100 000.
