Having recently been established as a majority shareholder in the local business, Lowe Worldwide is looking to strengthen its South African offering – an objective that will get an immediate boost with the acquisition of Cross Colours.

Cross Colours, which was established as an independent agency in 1995 by Adelle Wapnick and a small team of partners, has become known for its award-winning design and below-the-line work on high profile brands such as Sasol, Nando’s, Subaru, Castle Lite, Liberty, Nestle and Steers.

Lowe & Partners SA is made up of Lowe Joburg, Lowe Cape Town, OIL and Initiative Media. The group has established itself as an industry leader – with the brand agencies in Johannesburg and Cape Town creating award-winning work for clients, primarily in the above-the-line space. It specialises in providing strategic brand planning; creative brand solutions across all media; and media planning and buying to its clients.

“With its bold and inventive approach to creating insightful, cutting-edge campaigns, Cross Colours will undoubtedly bring a new level of dynamism and focused, creative energy to the group,” says Lowe & Partners Worldwide CEO, Michael Wall.

Adelle Wapnick as CEO leads Lowe’s Joburg and Cape Town offices - which now includes Cross Colours.

Says Wapnick: “The industry is in a state of change, so it is great to join forces with strong minds and to put forward an offering that can rise to the challenge.”

“This is a tremendously exciting time for both Lowe Worldwide and Lowe &amp Partners SA, as we team up with some of the brightest minds in the local industry and extend our footprint both locally and internationally,” concludes Wall.
