Mi Casa's music has been on the air and on the festival scene, playing hits such as Jika, These Streets, and Don't Wanna Be Your Friend. Mi Casa joined together over six years ago and are made up of producer, DJ, and keyboardist Dr Duda, singer and songwriter J’Something, and trumpeter Mo-T.

Their stage performance is a mix of soulful house with jazz instrumentals. "Our sound and live performances are like no other, reaching and uniting a diversity of people from different backgrounds all in the name of good music," says Mi Casa. Participants can catch them live on Saturday, 30 December at the carnival.

Amarra Brown first gained popularity as a top-five contestant on M-Net’s Idols at the age of 19. She has since shared stages with artists such as Oliver Mtukudzi, Kirk Franklin, and Hugh Masekela and has performed on many international stages such as Sauti Za Busara and HIFA. Her most recent duet with Tytan, Mukoko, has topped local charts.
