According to The Throne Magazine, numerous celebrities and media personalities have taken to social media to share their sentiments about the striking cover. The cover's theme is 'Alter Ego' and was launched as a Halloween edition.

"This is probably one of my favourite projects. For the first time in a very long time I didn’t complain about the outcome of the pictures – and that’s simply because I was given the freedom to be 100% myself, and show my alter ego unapologetically," says Mbombo.

She adds, "I’m also very humbled to cover The Throne. It’s a new online magazine that is about to take the industry by storm."

As revealed in her cover story with The Throne Magazine, Mbombo works with Vth Season, a leading entertainment marketing agency, as a creative producer. She also plays a role as a creative producer in music videos and photo shoots of some of South Africa's top emerging talent.

"Blue Mbombo is extremely gifted and has an eye for creative styling and production like we’ve never seen before. Our working relationship with her has evolved over time, and she’s done some amazing work with us. We look forward to sharing more of these projects soon," says Ninel Musson, director at Vth Season.

Mbombo is currently the Face of Clere Radiance for the second year running and recently renewed her contract with Dark & Lovely for an international deal.
