The new series will showcase gifted undiscovered preachers. The debut season comprises 13 episodes that will showcase contestants being put through various challenges to win the competition.
Viewers will be allowed to vote for their favorite preacher as episodes unfold. In the first stages of the programme, there will be five formidable judges to adjudicate the process.
A different celebrity judge will feature weekly. Some of the judges on

- Pastor Ralekholela
- Ayanda Ncwane
- various pastors from America
Auditions were held throughout Gauteng — first in Pretoria at the Pretoria State Theatre, followed by Walter Sisulu Square and then the Jo’burg Theatre. The auditions will form part of the 13 episodes.
"We have seen shows about talented singers and soccer players, but this is unique in this category of television content. We are ready for a new level of meaningful television," concludes Ruth Mabona, GauTV station manager. The winner of the show will receive a car and prizes worth a million Rand.
