The event aims to be a day of fun for families. It will provide routes for tiny tots, beginners, intermediate, advanced and competitive riders, and it will feature live performances by musicians after the races. The day will also feature Acrobranch for all ages, a designated children's area and a wide variety of food and drink trucks.

Children aged between two and 13 years will be able to choose from the 1.2km, 5km and the 10km riding distances. The event has informed attendees that minimum age restrictions will apply, including:
  • no under two's for the 1.2km children's event
  • no under five's for the 5km event, and
  • no under 10's for the 10km event
From the 5km upwards, there are no maximum age limits. Riders aged 14 years and up can choose the 25km riding distance. Advanced riders who are 16 years and older can enter the 50km race, which is a timed and seeded event that is sanctioned by the Cycling South Africa Governing Body. To ensure the safety of riders, a strict "no helmet, no ride" policy will be applied.
