Ofori's return to ECR forms part of the station's line-up refresh. The award-winning presenter says that she is thrilled to be coming back 'home' and embarking on a new chapter of her radio career.

"When I left East Coast Radio two years ago, I knew that our paths would cross again; I just never thought it would be this soon. The Almighty's timing is always the best timing. Not only is Durban the best place to be but East Coast Radio is an awesome place to work," says Ofori.

"Deciding to come back was easy because I left on great terms and I love the brand so much. I am so excited to be back. So, expect loads of fun features and loads of laughs, passion for African travel and what is a day without a little bit of gossip," adds Ofori.

"Embarking on this new chapter means a massive change for the Ofori family who will be making KwaZulu Natal their home. Moving isn't an easy feat but we are so excited to call the East Coast our new home," Ofori ays.

"I will personally be looking forward to embarking on a healthier lifestyle with many walks on the famous promenade and indulging in the yummy Durban salads. My husband Greg will certainly be enjoying warmer winters, beach lounging, less time in morning traffic, fun beach days with the family and everything else coastal living has to offer," Ofori adds.

"I am really looking forward to making Durban home and bringing smiles to the faces of so many every morning on East Coast Radio. I love the electric vibe the city has to offer. Everything from the shopping to the food, the beaches, the people and the nightlife excites me and I am so blessed to be embarking on this new adventure," concludes Ofori.
