The magazine says that with the current inclination of people accepting the ancestral calling and embarking on peculiar spiritual journeys, there are many questions posed by society with the hunger for understanding.

In light of this, the publication aims to be a platform that will interrogate all these questions.

"I started this platform because I saw a gap in the market. We don't come across magazines that speak about spirituality and tradition, which is bewildering considering that those two things are the fibre of modern society — especially here in South Africa," says Andile Mathobela, founder of Vumanibo.

"What makes this magazine different from the rest is the fact that there isn't anything like this in the market; it's quite literally a game-changer," adds Mathobela.

The Vumanibo platform is aimed at helping society understand the world of spiritually in the African context and to aid brands with unique insights that will help them understand the nuances that make African consumers.
