The station says more than 10 000 people are expected to be part of this super popular calendar highlight.
Good Hope FM will be broadcasting live from the event, with Rinaldo Felaar from the Hit 30 doing a live crossing from the street parade between 11:00 and 12:00.
The Matinee with Garth B will be hitting the airwaves between 12:00 and 15:00, and The Weekend Special with Carissa Cupido will be bringing the vibe between 15:00 and 18:00.
Good Hope FM says that the parade will be the highlight of a three-week-long
Pride Festival, which features a proud 30 events on the calendar, including:
- book readings
- film screenings
- workshops
- mountain hikes
- a Vogue Kiki Ball
- drag quen shows
- drag king shows
- pride karaoke
- queer yoga, and
- a talent show.
