Kagiso Trust has announced the appointment of Dr Ziyanda Mzamo as its chief corporate services officer. Dr Mzamo will lead the corporate services departments, including human resources, information technology and communication and marketing.
Dr Mzamo brings over two decades of experience in delivery and project management across various industries, including telecommunications, IT consulting, manufacturing and banking, says Kagiso Trust.
As a passionate advocate for education, Dr Mzamo runs the BlaQRose Foundation, which works to improve educational opportunities for students in the Eastern Cape. This aligns perfectly with Kagiso Trust's commitment to education as a tool for societal transformation, says the trust.
Dr Mzamo's dedication to education is further evidenced by her service as a department head at NSFAS during its administration under Prof. Carollisen, the foundation adds.
Dr Mzamo holds:
- a BCom in accounting from the University of the Witwatersrand
- a postgraduate diploma in management from the Wits Business School
- an MBA from Regenesys Business School, and
- a PhD in business management from the University of Fort Hare.
