Production powerhouse Stained Glass TV, the creative force behind Uzalo, Amalanga Awafani and the Umjolo film collection, proudly celebrates multiple nominations for the 2025 National Film & TV Awards (NFTA), an event honouring excellence across South Africa's film and television industry.
This year's nominations reaffirm Stained Glass TV's continued leadership in authentic African storytelling and industry innovation, with recognition across top categories including Best Actress, Best Actor, Best Feature Film, Best Director, Best TV Drama Series, and the highly coveted Best Production Company award, says the production house.

Public voting opened on Monday,13 October at 13:00 and closes on Thursday, 20 November at 12:00. Winners will be announced live at the National Film & TV Awards Ceremony hosted at the South African State Theatre, says the production house.
The third Annual National Film & TV Awards South Africa will take place on Saturday, 22 November, at the Opera Theatre (State Theatre Building) in Pretoria, South Africa. Nominations were officially announced to the public on Monday, 13 October, with public voting opening at 13:00 on the same day via the official Academy voting platform, adds the production house.
