All things decadent on Bloodline this December
The December edition of Bloodline showcases the more decadent side of horse ownership with presenter, Jacqui Nel, taking to the Summer Cup dressed by one of the country’s leading designers, Gavin Rajah. The show will also look at the changing stereotypes around horse racing and the International Jockey Challenge taking place in Cape Town.
The Summer Cup is the oldest and most respected horse race in South Africa and viewers will delve into the background of not only the race but also the winners who could walk away with as much as R2-million in prize money.
The usual stereotyping that horse owners and racers are exclusive to the rich, elite and 'white' market is becoming something of the past and Bloodline talks to Peter Naidoo and William Nsele about their experiences as they prove that the landscape of horseracing is indeed changing.
Also on this edition of Bloodline is an insert on the second leg of the International Jockey Challenge, the competition that tests the skill of the worlds leading jockey’s through a point system that measures their technical ability and speed.
It’s a decadent edition of Bloodline this December, sponsored by Bloodstock South Africa, every second Wednesday of the month at 21:00, with repeats on the weekend at 07:30, 14:30 and 21:30 CAT on Saturdays and 11:30 and 19:00 CAT on Sundays.
CNBC Africa is available exclusively on DStv, channel 410.
