That’ll Be the Day and
Honk.
Meanwhile, Moloi is a familiar face from many top performances, including the opening ceremony of the 2010 Fifa World Cup.
The Mzansi Youth Choir, directed by Ralf Schmitt, recently returned from a 10-day tour of Denmark and performed at thw 2013
SAMA Awards. The choir consists of 45 youngsters aged between 14 and 24 from Soweto and other areas in and around Johannesburg. They have performed with Andrea Bocelli and shared the stage with Shakira during the 2010 World Cup.
The Johannesburg Youth Orchestra, made up of 60 youngsters aged between 12 and 25, is the flagship of the Johannesburg Youth Orchestra Company. The orchestra performed under the baton of Eddie Clayton at the
National Arts Festival in Grahamstown recently and will be appearing at the SA Tattoo in September for the second year.
Symphonic Pops, on Thursday, 8 August, will be held at De La Salle High School, Road No. 3, Victory Park. Tickets are R150 per person or R125 per person for a full table booking (10 people). There will be a cash bar and tea, coffee and hot chocolate available for sale.
