Van der Schijff started her career at Leisure Books (Media 24) where she worked in a variety of divisions. She also worked in various positions at kalahari.com. After gaining some valuable international experience as the product director at BCA (Bertelsmann Book clubs in the UK), she has been a business consultant, assisting publishers with their marketing and eCommerce strategies.
