Jacobs is well known for his sentimental and anthemic folk-rock. His single,
Love Can, from his album of the same name topped the charts on South African radio stations and stayed at number one on the local
iTunes charts for 12 weeks. His latest single,
End of the Road, made it into the top 20 local tracks on the
iTunes single chart and is playlisted on most national stations. His album debuted at number four on the
iTunes album chart the day it launched.
Nickelback is one of the most commercially successful Canadian groups, having sold more than 50 million albums worldwide and close to half a million copies in South Africa.
