Available in 2-ply, the new Baby Soft® Enviro-Roll is an environmentally friendly toilet paper, designed to be eco-friendly, space efficient and cost effective. This new product has a flattened, air-free centre that saves space. This in turn means that less packaging material is used, and more product can be transported in a single trip, as it occupies less storage space in the transport truck. Baby Soft® Enviro-Roll is also FSC – compliant, which means that only pulp from sustainable sources and responsible forestry is used in the production. This further reduces the impact on the environment.

This new product provides the same renowned quality of Baby Soft® tissue paper which consumers love and trust, while simultaneously allows consumers to give back to their communities by using a product which is softer on the environment. Enviro-Roll is available in packs of 12’s and 16’s, enabling consumers to choose the pack size suited to their needs. Additionally, the compact pack size of the new product helps consumers to use less storage space in their homes.

Gustavo Calvo Paz, president of Kimberly-Clark in Middle East, Eastern Europe and Africa (MEA) gave an opening speech at the Game outlet in Fourways, as part of the launch of the new offering from Baby Soft®. Paz also gave the Kimberly-Clark management team interesting insights into pricing and packaging in Russia and other countries.

Born in Argentina, Paz joined Kimberly Clark Argentina in 1996 as a marketing director, followed by his appointment as senior director for the Personal Care category in the LAO region (South East Asia). In March 2009, Paz was appointed vice president and managing director for Kimberly Clark Eastern Europe, culminating in 2010 with his appointment as Kimberly-Clark MEA President.

Paz said “By introducing the new Baby Soft® Enviro-Roll, we are embracing the environmentally friendly market because of the benefits of this new product on the environment.’’
