From bold fashion choices and outspoken personalities, to gorgeous divas and aspiring stars, the three cities delivered colourful characters, each determined to make an impression on selectors who had the very difficult job of shortlisting candidates for the next round of auditions.

With the first stage of auditions now complete, those shortlisted will now undergo several audition stages before the final housemates for
Big Brother Mzansi 2 are chosen. Among these will be psychological assessments, in-depth interviews with the show's producers and of course, criminal and background checks.
Big Brother Mzansi 2 airs for the first time on Sunday, 29 March on Mzansi Magic, channel 161 on DStv and will run for 56 days. Prize money on the show this year has been kept secret and the only clue that has been given is that it will noy be less than R1 million, but it could be as high as a mouthwatering R2 million. That is all 'Biggie' is saying for now.
