Media 100
For a period of six weeks, Beeld is offering its readers an opportunity to win a kitchen makeover to the value of R100 000. Popular ‘Mr Fix-It’ personality Riaan Venter of Die Nutsman fame is endorsing the competition.
“Total prize value is R300 000,” says Gavin Rheeder, Marketing Communications Manager for Beeld. “Because our readers are extremely loyal to us we are able to effectively implement a competition which needs daily interaction through our product. The different entry mechanisms include daily scratch competitions, cut-and-paste elements and readers can enter through a dedicated SMS line.”
The competition will run for five weeks with daily winners being announced but to be eligible for the main prize, readers will need to collect the daily puzzle pieces printed in Beeld and stick them on the provided playing card.
“Our readers are passionate homeowners and as such dedicate a lot of time and effort in gardening, décor and home renovations. We felt that matching our competition with Riaan Venter’s renowned DIY expertise made sense,” says Gavin.
The competition, which kicked off on 25 February will be promoted through Beeld, 94.7 Highveld Stereo, Jacaranda 94.2 and SABC 2.
