The judges also noted the role that Tribeca’s focus on its people-first and positive culture plays in its business success, with happy consultants doing great work that results in happy clients.

The independent agency also scooped one of the ceremony’s rare Gold PRISM awards for its media relations work for Mercedes-Benz Cape Town Fashion Week (MBFWCT) for client African Fashion International, in one of the most hotly contested categories of the event.

Judges commented that the MBFWCT campaign yielded “spectacular results and spot-on activation”, adding that it was one of the best media relations campaigns of the year achieved through ‘excellent evaluation and clear collaboration and partnerships with the client.

“Tribeca has won a PRISA PRISM Award in each of our 10 years of doing business, and we’re particularly proud to be named the country’s best mid-sized consultancy in this year’s celebration of all the great work done by South Africa’s public relations industry,” says Nicky James, co-owner of Tribeca Public Relations. “Our focus on building a positive environment for our consultants has paid off - our teams achieve remarkable results for our clients and for our agency, while still enjoying a great work-life balance.”

Tribeca extends its congratulations to all PRISA PRISM Award winners.
