This year's main recipient is Streetlight Schools, but organisers of Night of 1000 Drawings hope to double the proceeds collected last year (R120 000) and donate them to an additional charity.
The Night of 1000 Drawings event will be held at Number 1 Eloff Street, Joziburg Lane on Thursday, 10 November. Tickets are available from Quicket at R80 per head, or R100 at the door.
Art collectors will be able to choose from pieces including doodles, scribbles, graffiti, sketches, watercolour and oil paintings, and experimental and conceptual works. All the pieces will be on sale for R100 a piece.
