Mokgata’s appointment has seen Tribeca’s content team triple in size during the last year, as a result of the agency’s strategic focus on content development.

Mokgata has seven years’ experience writing for several business media titles, including the Financial Mail, the Business Times and The Times, and he was the business correspondent for The Sowetan and The Daily Dispatch.

Prior to joining Tribeca, Mokgata spent two years at a corporate public relations agency.

“Content is at the heart of everything that Tribeca does, and our content team now includes writers with experience in a myriad verticals, offering a wide range of capabilities, including corporate, writing, content marketing, internal communications, and social media content,” says Kerry Haggard, content team leader at Tribeca.

Mokgata holds a University of Johannesburg diploma in media studies, an NQF Level 4 qualification in journalism through the Times Media journalism graduate training programme, and is a Microsoft certified software developer.
