The partnership began during the fires in Knysna and the Eastern Cape Fires in June when kulula.com began supporting the NSPCA disaster teams with flights to the affected areas.

"We’re excited to partner with the NSPCA and assist them with flights so that they can continue the great work that they do in looking after the welfare of the many distressed animals within South Africa," says Shaun Pozyn, head of marketing, customer experience and loyalty.

Pozyn adds, "As their partner, we would like to encourage our fans to take care of their furry friends while increasing awareness around assisting the many other animals in need of care."

Meg Wilson, manager of the NSPCA’s communications unit, says, "The NSPCA is grateful for this collaboration as it will save the organisation thousands of Rands, allowing us to use the money elsewhere to uplift the welfare of animals throughout the country."
