The grant is made up of donations from Herbalife Nutrition Members, staff, friends, and family from Southern Africa and the Nordic region. The partnership between regions has resulted in HFF donating the highest grant to Acres of Love this year.

Acres of Love cares for children with medical conditions such as HIV/AIDS, paralysis, spina bifida, cerebral palsy, CHARGE syndrome, down syndrome, fetal alcohol syndrome, hearing and vision impairments, autism, and clubfeet. A group of 11 Herbalife Nutrition members from Norway travelled to Bryanston, Johannesburg to meet some of the Acres of Love children for the first time.

Gerda Audagnotti, co-founder and CEO of Acres of Love, says, "It was great to receive our guests from the Nordic countries and see their enthusiasm for our work. This is an amazing and generous donation that will go a very long way in bringing health and holistic care to the children we care for. Thank you, Herbalife Family Foundation."

Herbalife Nutrition member, Erik Arlind, adds, "This partnership gives our Nordic members the opportunity to acknowledge Acres of Love as their Casa Herbalife, knowing that all their HFF donations will go to support the children benefiting from this project."

The 30 Acres of Love Forever Family Homes are based in both Johannesburg and Cape Town and are focused on providing each child with medical, educational, emotional, and nutritional care.

HFF aims to improve the nutrition of children all over the world through its Casa Herbalife programme and has supported Acres of Love since 2006 with monetary contributions that go towards the good nutrition of each child.

While HFF supports Casa Herbalife programme in over 50 countries, there are not currently any organisations supported in the Nordic countries of Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden.

Thilo Naidoo, country director, Herbalife Nutrition South Africa, concludes, "Seeing the direct impact of our contributions shows us that the partnership is one that is of immense value to those that need it most."
