The visit to PRISA Head Office in Bryanston, Sandton was an attempt to expose and give students of the developing Eastern Cape-based university a first-hand experience and an opportunity to get involved in different acts of the PR profession.

Recently appointed executive director and former President of PRISA Victor Sibeko gave the students a first-hand account of what it is like being a PR practitioner in the changing times in South Africa.

Sibeko also encouraged students to consider joining a professional body and register with PRISA. Belonging to a professional body enhances students' chances of interacting with PR practitioners from across Southern Africa and finding internship placements.
