'Pink Power Day' aims to bring corporates, businesswomen and entrepreneurs together. Additionally, it strives to build a community and nurture a culture of empowerment, collaboration and support among women.

The theme of the event is 'Dream, Define and Do', and the platform intends to celebrate the strength of being a woman. "We have created this platform to build a community of women and enable them to share successes, challenges and to collectively share knowledge gained through past or current experiences," says Tumi Mkhondo, co-founder of 'Pink Power'.

"'Pink Power Day' is a way of reminding women that they don't have to compete with one another to be successful but rather collaborate and support each other to achieve even greater success. It starts with celebrating one another as women and the role we play in society," Mkhondo adds.

Speakers at the event included Ezlyn Barends, ?founding director of DreamGirls Academy; Winny Senatla, MD of Senatla Panelbeaters; and Nobesuthu Ndlovu, co-founder of Burgundy Fly. Empowering topics of discussion included:

"'Pink Power Day' celebrates and encourages women to support, connect and be inspired by other women outside the corporate environment," says Tumi Makhu, co-founder of 'Pink Power'.
 
"We aim to empower one another in a fun-filled scenery with amazing speakers, beauty treatments, exhibitors and great entertainment," concludes Makhu.
