"I cannot believe it has been 10 years since I left my alma mater, Warner Music South Africa, to embark on a new adventure — one that has kept us juggling new opportunities, new ideas and helping some of the most talented up and coming artists in the biz," says director and co-founder Joanne Olivier.

"The music landscape has changed so drastically over the last 10 years; it is important to keep your 'eyes on the road and your hands upon the wheel' — in more ways than one," adds Olivier.

"We feel really lucky that so many young artists have trusted us with their music and that we have paved their way for a career in the music industry. We do it to pay the bills, but essentially we do it for the love of it," Olivier says.

According to Tickybox Media, co-director and video content director Kirsten Siebert is the "behind the scenes hero" who drives music video content, audiovisual marketing and is often seen backstage at TV shows like The Voice, Big Brother and Survivor in the live TV co-director seat.

Having been in the entertainment business for over 20 years, the team at Tickybox Media says that Siebert has the experience and all-over quality of professionalism that "cannot be bought". With this, she "creates a vehicle for young newcomers to showcase their work and talents".
