Louw says that he is eager to use his extensive product knowledge and passion for the Jaguar and Land Rover brands to re-engage with media colleagues in South Africa, and to continue building relationships.
Tina Pienaar-Smit will now take over the position of experiential manager, where she will build upon the Jaguar Land Rover experience business including management of the Experience facility opened in Johannesburg in 2019.
Other changes to the Jaguar Land Rover South Africa marketing team include the appointment of Carmen Slade to marketing director and Irene Kakooza to communications manager.
Kakooza has been with Jaguar Land Rover since 2012 and formerly held experiential manager, regional business manager and franchise manager positions. She will report directly to Carmen Slade.
Slade brings a wealth of experience to her new leadership role, and in the past has been responsible for communications, digital, social, PR and CRM duties in South Africa and sub-Sahara Africa.
