FIVESTAR PR says that the South African tourism and hospitality industries are seeing a slow but steady recovery, which has generated new business opportunities for the agency.

FIVESTAR PR has also grown its luxury safari portfolio with the addition of Jamala Madikwe and the launch of two new products: 
  • Mukwa River Lodge in Zambia, and
  • mFulaWozi Wilderness Private Game Reserve in Zululand.

The agency says that Bailey is set in a historic building in the heart of Cape Town and is a collaboration between Liam and Jan Tomlin, as well as the owners of Tintswalo Lodges. The three floors comprise of:

  • The Old Bailey Whiskey Bar.

The agency says that Jamala Madikwe boasts views of open savanna and a watering hole that plays host to a myriad of wildlife within the 75 000-hectare Madikwe Game Reserve.

Additionally, Mukwa River Lodge has opened on the riverbanks of the Zambezi in Zambia. Situated 28-minutes from Livingstone Airport, and from there another 10km to the attractions of Victoria Falls, Mukwa says that it is exclusive and intimate.

Sister-lodges Biyela and Mthembu were re-launched at mFulaWozi in KwaZulu-Natal after an extensive revamp, alongside a vision to honour and preserve the Zulu culture.

Owner-managed by Janie van der Spuy, who brings with her PR experience, it focuses on delivering strategic PR, media and communications services to select five-star clients in the luxury travel, conservation and hospitality industries.

According to the agency, these include some of South Africa's top hotels and safari lodges, as well as premium restaurant and wine brands.
