As a youth-led organisation at the forefront of digital skills delivery, Digify Africa says that it understands the transformative role of skills and training in alleviating socio-economic inequalities and boosting youth participation in the job market.

Digify Africa has been addressing skills shortages through its youth upskilling initiative Digify Pro Online, a programme that provides quality digital skills education to unemployed youth ages 18-35.

The programme offers ten weeks of intensive training in demand-driven digital marketing skills that can be used to connect to earning opportunities in the digital world.

Digify Pro Online has trained 264 young people over the past two years.

Digify Pro Online covers:
  • digital marketing fundamentals
  • an introduction to social media
  • digital strategy
  • content marketing
  • an introduction to paid advertising
  • an introduction to data-led decision making
  • an introduction to e-commerce
  • website content management systems, and 
  • content on crafting a career.
Upon completion of the above modules, successful candidates will be able to choose one elective from the below:
  • Meta Digital Marketing Associate Certification
  • Google Ads and Analytics Certification, and 
  • Content Marketing Certification.

The programme is self-paced and entirely virtual allowing for flexible learning that can fit any schedule. The teaching blends theoretical and practical skills, including:

weekly assessments, live briefs and guest lectures to help participants develop a holistic understanding of digital marketing.

The programme is tailored to industry needs and is constantly updated to meet the digital marketing industry's changing demands, making it one of the most trusted skills pipelines for digital talent. Many of the Digify Pro graduates have been able to launch successful careers at leading companies such as:
  • Wunderman Thompson
  • VML
  • Meta, and
  • Primedia.

Digify Pro Online goes beyond imparting skills but also ensures that graduates can thrive in their careers through job readiness training and post-program support.
