The 2025 Summit, themed, 'The Human Factor', will unite industry leaders, academics, agencies, corporates and young voices to explore how the profession can balance technological innovation with authenticity, ethics and trust, says PRISA.

Over two days, delegates will hear from thought leaders such as Zipporah Maubane (African Union Development Agency), Bronwyn Williams (Flux Trends), Dr Caroline Azionya (University of Johannesburg), and many more, adds PRISA.

Sessions will span critical conversations on AI ethics and safety, the vanishing agency model, digital colonialism, the power of storytelling and the human side of leadership, culture and brand resilience, says PRISA.

PRISA President and Alkemi Collective CEO, Bradly Howland, says, "The Summit and PRISMS Awards are more than annual highlights — they're a reflection of how far our industry has come. We're seeing a communications community that's not only adapting to change, but shaping it, with integrity, innovation and purpose at the centre of every story — an important for the profession."

The Summit will conclude with the PRISMS Awards Gala Dinner on Saturday night, 18 October, a South African celebration of communications excellence. Now in its 28th year, the PRISMS remain the gold standard and industry benchmark for recognising strategic, creative, impactful and results-driven communication across the continent, says PRISA.

"We are delighted by the enthusiastic response and strong industry support for this year's Summit and PRISMS Awards, with representation across not only industries, sectors and disciplines but also the continent. When industry, academia and corporate leaders come together under one roof, we ignite conversations that define the future of African communication."

"The PRISA PRISMS Summit and Awards embody the spirit of collaboration, thought leadership and excellence that continues to elevate the profession. Limited seats remain available, and those wishing to attend are encouraged to book their place for what promises to be a landmark gathering of communication leaders," concludes Howland.
