“The event will re-define what it means to inspire, empower and make a difference in Women’s lives,” notes Ramagoshi. “I believe in making a difference just by giving time, sharing a smile or lending an ear. I also believe in the power of knowledge and education, through education and knowledge you can be empowered and feel liberated.”

This is only the start of what women can achieve if we take the initiative and define our success as women,” said Sindi Mabaso-Koyana, group chief financial officer. The day will see various key note speakers addressing the attendees on the various topics including: Business & Skill Development, Finance, Balancing Career with Relationships & Family, Health & Nutrition, Beauty, Fashion & Glam, Relationships & Women The True Architects of Society. Two of the confirmed Speakers include Lebo Mashile and Kass Naidoo, who will undoubtedly inspire through their relevant topics. Ladies will also be treated to tea, lunch and spot prizes as part of the running order of the day.

All attendees will leave the event feeling educated, inspired and with a desire to share knowledge and implement what they will have learnt over the course of the day. Self-appreciation is a key element for the day’s proceedings.

Joan has long wanted to host and event that will allow Women a platform to learn, share good food and laughter whilst networking. Joan Ramagoshi recently left Mamelodi Sundowns in June 2011, and had moved full time into operating ‘The Dynamic School of Grooming’. The School teaches a young person about the importance of grooming and etiquette. The curriculum allows people to learn about themselves and enables them to communicate effectively in business. Key focus is on the importance of image and self-esteem, necessary elements both in a personal or corporate life. The school is targeted at all ages and races focusing on people who want to change their lives and attitudes for the positive. In addition to her School of Grooming, Joan is also a co-owner of Marketing and Events company RBJ Marketing. She is also a motivational speaker giving lectures on how to “Unleash the Power in You”.
