Taking and sharing photos is an important part of our lives. While photos are great, it is sometimes hard to encapsulate the full experience, view or location within the frame.

When capturing and sharing images with friends and family, you want to give them the most accurate and immersive experience. That way you can allow them to see and relate to the experiences you are having.

Whether you’re capturing a stunning landscape or a crowded room at a party, Facebook’s 360 Photos enables users to share a panoramic image that can be explored from every angle.

The tool is simple to use and can be accessed by clicking on the ‘Menu’ button and choosing ‘360 Photo’. Selecting the tool will automatically open the camera on the user’s phone, and all individuals need to do is slowly turn in a full circle, keeping the graphic centered in the middle of the screen. Once the image has been taken, users can pick the start point and share the panoramic image directly on their timeline where it will remain permanently.

As with all content shared on Facebook, users can choose who can view the content they share by editing the ‘Privacy Setting’ either before or after uploading the image to their profile.
