Unlike other platforms where you buy products and not being sure if that they’re legitimate, Sneaker Spaza serves as a middleman that provides various services from Authenticating a sneaker to ensure the product that is sold is 100% Authentic and also handles shipping to the buyer.
As a buyer on Sneaker Spaza, you don’t know who is selling you the sneakers, but you know two basic things: the price and that the sneakers will be authenticated.
How it works
The Seller sends product information which includes: Sneaker Name, Size, Condition and the Price to Sneaker Spaza.
If the listing is approved, the sneaker gets listed on
Sneaker Spaza.
When the buyer makes a purchase , the seller ships the pair to
Sneaker Spaza to verify the legitimacy of the shoe and sends the shoe along to the seller. Authentication takes place, when the process is successful – the buyer is paid and the sneaker is shipped to the buyer.
Launched in June 2016, Sneaker Spaza has over 50 pairs of sneakers listed, including brands like Nike and adidas. Sneaker Spaza also allows unworn and worn good condition (original boxed) sneakers.
Sneaker Spaza is a project by
YoMzansi.
“We brought to life this platform soon after we introduced the Sneaker section (yomzansi sneakers) on
yomzansi.com, which provides users with latetst sneaker news, release dates and restocks,” said founder of
YoMzansi.
“With a flood of DM’s and emails we used to receive each day from people looking to resell and to buy sneakers, we saw a gap for such a platform in South Africa and with the internet experience we carry for over 10 years of developing Innovative Ideas this was easier for us.”
