Global media and marketing professional Gordon Patterson says, "If we don’t invest in the future and the youth of this country, we are going to have a very mediocre industry."

The event aims to come as a reward to members of the industry and as a gift to those who have an interest in marketing and advertising, but who don’t have the resources to gain the knowledge they need. Profits will be going towards this cause.

AMASA committee member and CEO of Contact Media and Communications, Sean Press, adds, "The AMASA year-end party is definitely one of the highlights of our calendar, where the entire industry has the chance to come together for a good cause, while also letting off a bit of steam after a tough year of budgets and tight deadlines. This year’s Taboo event promises to be well-attended and hugely memorable."

Participants can join AMASA at the Taboo Club in Sandton on Wednesday, 15 November at 19:00.
