Survey Sensum, an international customer experience management platform, announced the 150 Global Customer Experience Thought Leaders list, which included CX influencers from across the world.

"This is a huge win for the CX community," says Schooling. "It's an ongoing battle to get CEOs and senior executives to fully realise the benefits of CX. I'm honoured to be recognised alongside such heavyweights and it's especially exciting to see so many women on the list."

The list includes individuals from:
  • the United Kingdom
  • Russia
  • the United States of America
  • the Netherlands
  • Africa
  • Asia
  • Sweden
  • South America
  • Australia and
  • Canada.
According to Survey Sensum, CX is now considered to be the key brand differentiator; research predicted that in 2020, customer experience would overtake price and product as a unique selling point.

"It's encouraging that South Africa is starting to establish a footprint in CX. When I started nlighten 15 years ago, I was told there was no market for a CX provider in South Africa, but I was on a mission to get South African business leaders to take it seriously," says Schooling.

"I could see how the customer experience impacted a company's bottom line; it's long-term growth and ultimately the growth of our economy," adds Schooling.

The top 150 Global Customer Experience Thought Leaders were recognised for their efforts in redefining the customer experience. They were evaluated on:
  • their contribution to leading CX content
  • having a strong digital and social presence
  • their roles in CX success stories, and
  • their overall contribution to the CX discipline.
