"The refreshed corporate identity is contemporary but holds onto the project's slogan 'Ukwakha Isizwe', meaning, 'building and nurturing a nation'," says Elain Vlok, Clover manager of Clover Mama Afrika Trust.

"The new logo is built around the image of a strong, fearless Clover Mama Afrika, which embraces the project's narratives," adds Vlok. "It serves to reinforce its African roots, while demonstrating the project's essence of serving communities, embracement of creative expression and focus on skills development and sharing."

"I am filled with pride as I share our new logo with our country and our Mamas. We have worked hard to develop something that really represents who we are and how far we have come," Vlok says. "As we come to the last quarter of a difficult year for everyone around the globe, I want to take a step back [and] to celebrate what we have achieved in the last 16 years."

"I want to appreciate how far we have come, acknowledge what we have dreamed of and accomplished and to use this new milestone to set a tone of passion, positivity and commitment for the rest of the year, leading into 2021 and beyond," concludes Vlok.

Clover Mama Afrika has established a reputation for being one of South Africa's most innovative and sustainable corporate investment projects. The project currently has 27 operating Clover Mama Afrikas who collectively manage 141 income-generating projects and 39 added value projects.
